Ron Paul: IRS Will Steal More Money To Fund Health Care

Only thing that will repeal Obamacare will be bankruptcy of the United States, warns Congressman

Texas Congressman Ron Paul warns that last night’s passage of the health care reform bill will prompt the government to hire thousands of new IRS agents who will be used to steal money from taxpaying Americans to fund the new program.

Paul also told Fox News that the passage of Obamacare will only be repealed once the United States enters bankruptcy as a result of its exploding national deficit and runaway spending.

“Any time a government tries to give you a service or something of substance, they have to steal it from somebody else, so the whole process is immoral because it’s based on government theft, that’s why they’re hiring 16,000 more new IRS agents, because they have to steal more money,” stated the Congressman, referring to an analysis by the Joint Economic Committee and the House Ways & Means Committee that found “Up to 16,500 new IRS personnel will be needed to collect, examine and audit new tax information mandated on families and small businesses,” under the health care bill.

Paul said that the passage of Obamacare will precipitate a deepening of the economic crisis that will be “defined by the destruction of the dollar,” meaning government won’t be able to pay for anything.

“You cannot spend this kind of money, borrow this money and create new credit to finance this debt….medical care will get worse and this country will go into bankruptcy,” added Paul.

“This idea of an executive order amending the bill just is such an outrage,” said the Congressman, slamming Obama’s intention to bar federal funding for abortion after the vote as both misplaced and completely unconstitutional.

“To think that we’ve gotten to a point where we allow our presidents just to write an executive order as the law of he land, there’s nothing conceivable about that being Constitutional,” said Paul.

Throughout his campaign, Obama promised not to use executive powers and signing statements to change laws, a principle he has completely abandoned in pursuit of his big government agenda.

Congressman Paul warned that apparent efforts to prevent health care money being used to fund abortions were utterly ineffectual, saying that hospitals and clinics are just going to shift money around to fudge evidence of where the funds are being used.

On the wider argument behind government providing health care, Paul stated, “Central economic planning, if anything the 20th century proves, central economic planning fails, every country in the world today is on the verge of bankruptcy….and we’re marching on to a worldwide economic catastrophe if we’re not careful.”

Was that sarcasm, or are you a socialist?

you know i am a socialist

USA today doesn't even come up to standards of British welfare in 1945-50.

Let alone France, scandinavia etc.

And USA infant mortality and life expectancy are worse than cuba on a per capita expenditure 7 times higher, or more.

Maybe 40 million people are now covered whom weren't.

That's an incredible move forward. At the expense of those who can afford to pay.

Plus, pre-existing conditions won't invalidate insurance.....brilliant.

There's a lot further to go - of course. It doesn't solve everything. But it's a start. And a huge benefit to the 30-40 million not presently covered, and those who are worthlessly paying into schemes which they'd never receive any benefit from - because of "pre-existing conditions".

People who opposed such reform need to speak to the 30-40 million without cover. But of course, as such people are poor, and powerless, nobody cares about them. Until now.

hooray! what a big change.....what a positive change for those 40 million. a "good thing".

This is what "change" looks like. And you hate it. Oh well. It happened nevertheless.

You lost.

40 million won. and so do many others.

40 million won? How? Please tell me how.

Also tell me THIS: Why do you think health care is a RIGHT for people? It's NOT a right. Health care should be AFFORDABLE, but it shouldnt be just GIVEN to me like I need the government to plop something in my lap. I wouldnt expect the government to give me health care any more than I expect them to give me a car, or a house. Trust me--its a DANGEROUS thing when governments say "we are doing this for YOU and youre own good" or "we do this for your protection and security". NO they arent!

40 million didnt win---AMERICA lost. Where will they get the money for this? Where will they get the extra doctors and nurses for the additional 40 million that wasnt insured before?

No government should make its citizens buy a service. Its unconstitutional. Its a violation of the commerce statutes in the Constitution and that's why Virginia and many other states are filing lawsuits against this bill. But why would YOU know anything about OUR Constitution??

You fucking moron.

the_last_name_left said...

shows how lame your constitution is.

I'd rather be a frenchie than a yank.........yes i would, if i only could........i surely would.......

You would rather 40 million Americans remain too poor to afford healthcare..........whilst bankers, CEOs, and stock holders have more money than they can ever spend? Good for you.

Conservatives and Republicans today suffered their most crushing legislative defeat since the 1960s.
This time, when we went for all the marbles, we ended with none.
We followed the most radical voices in the party and the movement, and they led us to abject and irreversible defeat.
So today’s defeat for free-market economics and Republican values is a huge win for the conservative entertainment industry. Their listeners and viewers will now be even more enraged, even more frustrated, even more disappointed in everybody except the responsibility-free talkers on television and radio. For them, it’s mission accomplished. For the cause they purport to represent, it’s Waterloo all right: ours.

Can you tell I'm delighted?

LOVE how you completely IGNORED my question "How is health care a RIGHT?" You know its NOT a RIGHT, that's why you IGNORED me.

Should the government give me clothes, a house and car for free too? You also IGNORED my question on where we will get the extra doctors and nurses. How convenient you ignored that.

"You would rather 40 million Americans remain too poor to afford healthcare..........whilst bankers, CEOs, and stock holders have more money than they can ever spend? Good for you."

NO. I'd rather health care be AFFORDABLE so that ALL Americans could afford it. Hospital and pharmaceutical costs should not be through the roof. THAT'S what the bill should be---that they cant skyrocket the costs of these things---and therein lies my point: they made NO laws that health care companies cannot charge astronomical amounts for their services because they KNOW much of that money will end up in their pockets as well---and that's what this is all about.

Why do you enjoy the fact that a government can FORCE you to buy a service, and if you DONT, you get fined? Did you know that was in the health care bill? Or do you just IGNORE that? Isn't that the very thing you claim to hate.....Nazism? Didnt you say you hated Hitler? You must not---after all, he was a socialist too.

Where's the FREEDOM in being FORCED to buy a service and getting punished if you dont??

Larry -
You are clearly correct in surmising that TLNL is a socialist.
Those types often praise Robin Hood for "stealing from the rich and giving to the poor." What they fail to realize is that the "rich" were the tax collectors and what he was "giving" to the poor was their own money that had been extorted from them.
