Majority Of U.S. States Join Sovereignty Movement, Assert 10th Amendment Rights

New World Liberty
February 23, 2009

A majority of states have bills passed or have proposed bills which affirm 10th Amendment rights. Some affirm additional rights and/or give specific reasons. New Hampshire has written the most aggressive legislation.

With the economy collapsing, it is a very real and immediate danger that the federal government can turn into a completely criminal and fascist government. They’ll put foreign troops on their streets. They’ll grab people to put in forced labor or concentration camps if they are unemployed or protesting. They’ll conduct experiments on these prisoners.

This is especially true since a private corporation owned by a small group of people, who own over half the world’s wealth, control our currency and monetary policy through the Federal Reserve. They also have such power over the world as a whole through the World Bank, IMF, most other national central banks, numerous well-funded non-government organizations, and numerous corrupted government officials.

The Federal Reserve owners want the economy to collapse so they can grab real assets and power. Their whole monetary system is a giant ponzi scheme designed to fail because money is based on the issuance of debt, and the interest owed is not put into the system except through more debt with more interest.

The stock market has dropped 50% in value since this started last year. This is a great depression. The unemployment will rise. The spending of the two bailouts plus the trillions the Federal Reserve has printed will cause inflation to rise sharply. This same situation happened to the Soviet Union. This is not just an economic recession.

This is not just about mortgages since the value of mortgages is much less than the spending packages. The financial releveraging of the mortgages in the form of financial derivatives has magnified the problem. Giving loans to high risk individuals and giving ARM loans did stimulate the problem. The manipulation of oil prices through dollar devaluation and speculation also helped stimulate problem.

This current economic problem is largely due to the fact that we’ve been existing on borrowed time, running huge trade deficits and growing debt exponentially. Our assets now exceed our debt. We now owe more interest on our debts than we can possibly earn. The debt ponzi scheme our currency is based has busted and has started the process of collapse. We can’t spend our way out of this because we’re out of assets and out of credit.

This group of men who own most of the world’s currencies and wealth want complete centralized control of printing money. They also want a powerful undemocratic regional and world government which can usurp the sovereignty of national governments. They want more European Unions. They want a stronger United Nations. They want to push their own agendas, which include population reduction through eugenics. The threat is real and well documented in policy documents and in the mainstream press.

The Federal Reserve is doing to the United States exactly what the IMF and World Bank do to third world nations. Unless we wake up and get our head out of our fluoride and Prozac ass, we’re going to find ourselves as a third world nation, if not in the middle of World War III, the Fourth Reich, civil war, and revolution.

The only way we can stop the U.S. government and these banks is through the states. If the states are united, the people are united. If the people are united, the U.S. government ceases to function, and the states are able to reform a functioning and lawful U.S. government instead of the completely corrupt, rogue, destructive, and lawless federal government we have now.

Armed rebellion is not going to work. It will just result in a lot of dead people because the U.S. government has excessive firepower. Violent rebellion is exactly what the men in control of our money want.

I encourage everyone to write, email, or call their state legislatures to encourage the passage of such bills. You may also wish to contact your Federal Reserve senators and representative letting them know you’ve lost faith in their ability to represent the people of the United States.

We need stronger legislation with stronger teeth to make a stand peacefully and legally. We must act to prevent what is happening in Arcadia, Iowa, with the Iowa National Guard training for door-to-door gun confiscation.

We can’t allow the U.S. government to continue to usurp state sovereignty. If we allow the U.S. government to do this, we’re going to have a lot of dead people in this nation because a lot of people aren’t going to give up their guns and aren’t going to tolerate the U.S. military, corporate militias, and foreign troops invading their communities and homes.

The states may be forced to stand down. However, we started the process of thinking locally to solve our problems and to make it through these tough times. We want local, responsible, and focused local and state law enforcement to maintain order. We don’t want foreign troops and the U.S. military to do this for us.

We should consider training our local and state law enforcement to stop such door-to-door terrorism by agents of the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve. We should consider making it a high crime in the state for a federal official to offer a bribe or give threats and a high crime to receive such a bribe. We should consider forming voluntary local and state minutemen under the authority of local and state government to maintain order in emergencies.

Whether you agree with everything I put forth or not, a majority of the people do believe the U.S. government is corrupt, out-of-control, and don’t represent the interests of the people. If you don’t agree, you haven’t done the research nor have you paid close enough attention to the news. We’re on the verge of major crisis and change.

Here are a list of states who have passed or proposed bills to affirm 10th Amendment rights. I have not verified which bills have passed though many of them have been passed. Many of them are very new. We need to continue to encourage the states to take more specific action because of the very real dangers. I’ll try to keep this list updated with links.

Ron Paul Grills Bernanke: "You Can’t Reinflate The Bubble"

Congressman: Only way to solve financial crisis is to work, produce and save - not to create credit out of thin air

Paul Joseph Watson
February 25, 2009

Congressman Ron Paul again took the opportunity to lecture Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke on sound money principles at this morning’s House Financial Services Committee hearing, warning that the financial crisis cannot be solved by merely creating credit out of thin air.

Paul said that yesterday’s record consumer confidence slump was a reflection of monetary policy in Washington and that it was impossible to patch up a failed system.

"This is the end of an era," said the Congressman, "we can’t reinflate the bubble….if we think that we can reinflate this bubble by artificially creating credit out of thin air and calling it capital, believe me we don’t have a prayer of solving these problems - we have a total misunderstanding of what credit is versus capital."

Paul stressed that capital could not be created out of thin air by the Federal Reserve. "We have to work hard, produce, live within our means and what is left over is called capital," said Paul, dismissing the notion of recapitalizing markets by turning on the printing presses as a "total fallacy".

The Texas Congressman said that central bankers were only failing forward in creating another new system doomed to crash by creating internationalized regulations and giving up on the dollar standard.

"We have to have a system that encourages people to work and to save - what are we doing now - we’re telling consumers to spend and continue the process - it won’t work," concluded Paul.

Lawmaker Warns Of "Forced Servitude" Under Obama

New Hampshire state representative Dan Itse leading charge for states’ rights

Paul Joseph Watson
February 24, 2009

New Hampshire state representative Dan Itse, who is one of many lawmakers leading the charge to assert state sovereignty against federal encroachment, has warned that the Obama administration seeks to institute "involuntary servitude".

Appearing on Fox News to discuss the states’ rights movement, Itse told hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, "This is about drawing a line in the sand and saying we’ve tolerated usurpations for so long but we’re not going to tolerate you violating the constitution, we’re going to hold you accountable."

Asked if his warning about involuntary servitude under Obama meant young people being forced to attend community service, Itse responded, "Exactly, I mean, if you are required to do a job against your will with a pay scale not set by you or not agreed to by you, that’s involuntary servitude."

Despite denials that Obama plans to institute a mandatory program of national service, his original website stated that Americans would be "required" to complete "50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year". The text was only later changed to state that Americans would be "encouraged" to undertake such programs.

In addition, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, publicly stated his intention to help create "universal civil defense training" in 2006. Such fears were also stoked when Obama himself said that a "national civilian security force," that is "just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the U.S. military was required.

Itse cited the No Child Left Behind program as an example of the federal government encroaching on states’ rights.

"They dangle a dollar in front of us and we chase it like the donkey with a carrot on a stick but ultimately they are infringing upon our domestic policies in the states, manipulating our domestic policies and we need to stand up and say that’s not your job, that’s our job," said Itse, adding that if enough states stood up to Washington then they would have to pay attention.

In response to increasing federal encroachment, a growing number of states have passed and proposed resolutions to assert the Tenth Amendment and the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.

Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

"This is about enforcing the constitution which states to the government, you’re not the boss of us, we’re the boss of you," concluded the lawmaker.

Hidden Spy Camera & Mic Found Inside Digital TV Box

Reason for forced digital switchover in US and UK: Government and industry watching us to build profiles, launch invasive advertising

Paul Joseph Watson
February 18, 2009

A popular video circulating on You Tube shows the discovery of a spy camera and a microphone hidden inside a digital TV converter box. Such devices are part of a government and industry surveillance program that is undoubtedly connected to the forced digital TV switchover being rolled out in the UK and US.

"I could not believe my eyes," states the blurb accompanying the video clip, "I have a friend who is kind of a conspiracy theorist. He was trying to convince me that many of the digital TV convert boxes that are coming out have microphones and cameras built into them. Knowing a bit about electronics I bought one of these devices opened it up fully intending on proving him wrong. To my surprise he was right. This device has both a miniature camera lens and what looks like a microphone. I was so shocked I took pictures and video. Please send this out to everyone you know who is using one of these devices."

The camera and microphone were hidden inside a MAGNAVOX TB110MW9 Digital to Analog Converter box. We are not suggesting that every digital cable box has a spy camera and microphone inside, so ripping open your cable box is not a good way to prove this one way or another - but the fact remains that companies like Google and Comcast have openly announced that they plan to use hidden cameras and microphones inside their products to spy on consumers.

The need to mandate a mass roll out of such hidden surveillance devices is undoubtedly one of the reasons that governments in both the UK and the US, as well as eventually the entire planet, are overseeing a forced switchover to digital TV and killing traditional analogue broadcasts. The vast majority of TV’s require a digital decoder box to receive digital TV transmissions.

By installing covert spy devices and hidden microphones inside our all but mandatory digital boxes, the government and whatever corporate entities get a slice of the pie, have direct access to our living rooms. This is the ultimate Big Brother scenario whereby the majority of Americans and Europeans will have Orwellian telescreens watching their every move.

Many will dismiss such claims as conspiracy fodder, but the fact is that Americans have been spied on for decades, previously under the Echelon program and more recently as part of the Bush administration’s warrantless wiretapping program.

As former National Security Agency analyst Russell Tice recently revealed, "The National Security Agency had access to all Americans’ communications — faxes, phone calls, and their computer communications," Tice claimed. "It didn’t matter whether you were in Kansas, in the middle of the country, and you never made foreign communications at all. They monitored all communications."

As we highlighted three years ago, private industry and eventually government is planning to use microphones in the computers of an estimated 150 million-plus Internet active Americans, as well as similar devices installed inside digital TV boxes, to spy on their lifestyle choices and build psychological profiles which will be used for surveillance and minority report style invasive advertising and data mining.

Digital cable TV boxes, such as Scientific Atlanta, have had secret in-built microphones inside them since their inception in the late 1990’s and these originally dormant devices were planned to be activated when the invasive advertising revolution was being rolled out, a watershed that is quickly becoming a reality.

The advent of digital video recording devices such as TiVo (Sky Plus in the UK) introduced the creation of psychological algorithm profiles - databases on what programs you watched, how long you watched them for, and which adverts you liked or didn’t like. This information was retained by TiVo and sold to the highest bidders - an example being Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction during the 2003 Super Bowl half-time show; TiVo were able to compile lists of how many people had rewound the clip and how many times they had replayed it.

In 2006, Google announced that they would use in-built computer microphones to listen in on user’s background noise, be it television, music or radio - and then direct advertising at them based on their preferences.

In March last year, Comcast announced that they were "experimenting with different camera technologies built into devices so it can know who’s in your living room."

The cameras would use body-form recognition to confirm who was in the room and then tailor program recommendations, as well as commercials, to target that member of the family.

The video below covers the issue of secret cameras installed inside digital TV boxes and their relation to the forced digital switchover. A further video explores other motives behind the digital switchover.

My review of the film “Religulous”

Bill Maher’s film about the ridiculousness of religion

by Larry Simons
February 18, 2009

To even a moderate fan of Bill Maher, it should not be a secret that he has an enormous amount of contempt and sharp criticism for not just the entire concept and practices of religion, but also for its many lackeys worldwide. Now Maher has finally tackled this subject head on, in his first documentary/comedy film, “Religulous”, which was released yesterday on DVD.

Maher pulls no punches, traveling the world and visiting the most holy lands interviewing monks, Vatican priests, Muslims (even gay Muslims), ex-Mormons and even a televangelist who thinks he is Jesus Christ himself (and it’s not Charles Manson). Maher is not on a quest to find the one true religion because the entire premise for the film is that we can't possibly know the truth. Maher at one point stands behind a pulpit and declares, "I preach the gospel of 'I don't know'!"

Some of my personal favorite highlights include Maher’s chat with journalist and author Ray Suarez about why most (if not all) Christians in this country automatically blend Christianity with nationalism and believe the myth that the founding fathers were Christians. Even Senator John McCain believes this fairy tale. He is shown in a clip saying, "I would probably have to say, yes, that the Constitution established the United States as a Christian nation”. It did? Can he pinpoint where it says this?

Ray Suarez

Suarez says, “These men (the founding fathers) understood very well that there was a difference between being Christian and being American”. Then he says, “In Jefferson’s day and age, fewer people went to church less often”. But, yet in the past 200+ years, our ancestors, as well as ourselves, and our children have been indoctrinated into believing that the founding fathers were the 18th century equivalent to the 12 disciples.

This came from the same indoctrination that taught us that Lincoln hated slavery and was a great president, that brown skinned people from the middle east are evil because they’re not Christians and that we (America) always do right and that God ‘likes us more’ because we have “In God We Trust” on our money. Put a picture of a president beside the words, “In God We Trust” and all of a sudden----poof, Washington and Jefferson are instant Christians! 100% utter bullshit. It was great to learn there are people like Ray Suarez around who actually do their homework and know the facts.

Then, there was Steve Burg, an ex-Jew for Jesus, who claimed that he has experienced real miracles. Maher asks him to name one of his personal miracles. Burg said he prayed for rain once and 10 seconds rained. Hmmm, after the rains came, why didn't he pray for 100 million dollars? I would have asked him, "Why did it take 10 seconds?"

ex-Jew Steve Burg

One of my favorite people in the movie was Senior Vatican Priest, Father Reginald Foster. Maher seemed to genuinely like this man. Although Foster is a priest, he appears to not be fooled by the contradictory church practices of building palaces as places of worship and the fact that December 25 has never been proven to be the birthday of Christ. Father Foster is one of few people who simply has faith in God (which I’ve never been personally against) but is still smart enough not to fall for the bullshit contradictory practices and rituals of religion.

Father Reginald Foster

Then we come to "amusement park Jesus" or (APJ). This guy seemed to be a genuinely nice man. But, it was during Maher’s questioning session with ‘APJ’ that Maher asked, “Doesn’t it bother you that the story of a man who was born of a virgin, was resurrected, your bio, was something that was going around the Mediterranean for at least 1,000 years (before Christianity)? Then, Maher proceeds to tell ‘APJ’ about the other gods (Krishna, Mithra) mentioned hundreds of years before Christ who had the same story: born of a virgin, resurrected from the dead, had 12 disciples, etc. I was glad to see Bill had done his homework. Maybe he had seen the film "Zeitgeist"??

Mithra and Krishna: Two of the many gods that match the Jesus story

The film mentions the Egyptian Book of the Dead from 1280 B.C. and the god Horus, who was “born of a virgin, baptized in a river by Anup the Baptizer (who was later beheaded), tempted alone in the desert, healed the sick, the blind and cast out demons, walked on water, raised Asar from the dead (“Asar” translates to “Lazarus”), had 12 disciples, was crucified and 3 days later, after which two women announced that Horus had been resurrected.”

Even if these stories were false or made up, the fact that they were written nearly 1,300 years before Christ presents a colossal problem for the validity of the Bible. Either we have more than one savior, or the same God who had the providence to speak the universe into existence couldn’t muster up any originality when it came to choosing the scenario in which to send his son....he had to copy the story from the ancient Egyptians!

I only had insignificant issues with the film. Like Maher mistakingly saying that "nobody who wrote about Jesus ever met him". In fact, the Bible says that Matthew, Mark, Peter, James and John were among those who wrote about him and met Jesus (or at the very least could have). Also, a misspelling of the book "Revelation" appeared several times. The film added an "s" several times near the end. No big deal, but it could have added more strength to the film if Maher would have had everything right, even the small things.

Probably, without question, my favorite part was Maher’s epilogue to the film:

“The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having key decisions made by religious people, by irrationalists. By those who would steer the ship of state, not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. George Bush prayed a lot about Iraq, but he didn’t learn a lot about it.

Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking. It’s nothing to brag about. And those who preach faith, and enable and elevate it, are intellectual slaveholders, keeping mankind in a bondage to fantasy and nonsense that has spawned and justified so much lunacy and destruction.

Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings who don’t have all the answers to think that they do. Most people would think it’s wonderful when someone says, “I’m willing Lord. I’ll do whatever you want me to do.” Except that since there are no gods actually talking to us, that void is filled in by people with their own corruptions and limitations and agendas.

And anyone who tells you they know, they just know what happens when you die, I promise you you don’t. How can I be so sure? Because I don’t know, and you do not possess mental powers that I do not. The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble, and that’s what man needs to be, considering that human history is a litany of getting shit dead wrong.

This is why rational people, anti-religionists must end their timidity and come out of the closet and assert themselves. And those who consider themselves only moderately religious really need to look in the mirror and realize that the solace and comfort that religion brings you actually comes at a terrible price.

If you belong to a political party or a social club that was tied to as much bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, violence and sheer ignorance as religion is, you’d resign in protest. To do otherwise is to be an enabler, a mafia wife for the true devils of extremism that draw their legitimacy from the billions of their fellow travelers.

If the world does come to an end here or wherever, or if it limps into the future, decimated by the effects of a religion-inspired nuclear terrorism, let’s remember what the real problem was: that we learned how to precipitate mass death before we got past the neurological disorder of wishing for it.

That’s it. Grow up or die.”

9/11 Cover-Up Connection: Black Boxes Found 15 Hours After Buffalo Crash

Yet FBI claimed that indestructible black boxes were never discovered following WTC attack

Paul Joseph Watson
February 13, 2009

One of a plethora of cover-ups surrounding 9/11 is the FBI’s contention that the black boxes onboard the two planes that crashed into the World Trade Center were never found, a claim that has been further discredited following the news that the black box onboard flight Q400 that crashed last night in New York was found within 15 hours.

The FBI told the 9/11 Commission that the black boxes from Flight 11 and Flight 175, despite being built to withstand direct full speed crashes and temperatures of 1800-degrees, were never discovered in the wreckage at ground zero. They also claimed that the voice recorder from Flight 77 and the flight data box from Flight 93 were damaged beyond recovery.

It is incredibly rare that black boxes remain undiscovered after a plane crash, and considering that the WTC site was meticulously cleaned up to the point where tiny bone fragments were recovered, it is inconceivable that the black boxes could have been completely lost, even if they were damaged beyond repair.

In 2004, New York firefighters Mike Bellone and Nicholas DeMasi went public to say they had found the black boxes at the World Trade Center, but were told to keep their mouths shut by FBI agents. Nicholas DeMasi said that he escorted federal agents on an all-terrain vehicle in October 2001 and helped them locate the devices, a story backed up by rescue volunteer Mike Bellone.

As the Philadelphia Daily News reported at the time, "Their story raises the question of whether there was a some type of cover-up at Ground Zero."

"At one point, I was asked to take Federal Agents around the site to search for the black boxes from the planes," he wrote. "We were getting ready to go out. My ATV was parked at the top of the stairs at the Brooks Brothers entrance area. We loaded up about a million dollars worth of equipment and strapped it into the ATV," said DeMasi.

"At one point, Bellone said he observed the team with a box that appeared charred but was redish-orange with two white stripes. Pictures of the flight recorders on the NTSB and other Web sites show devices that are orange, with two white stripes," reported the newspaper.

"There was the one that I saw, and two others were recovered in different locations - but I wasn’t there for the other two," Bellone said. He said the FBI agents left with the boxes."

In addition, a source at the National Transportation Safety Board later told Counterpunch, "Off the record, we had the boxes….You’d have to get the official word from the FBI as to where they are, but we worked on them here."

Suspicions surrounding the so-called failure to locate the black boxes at the World Trade Center can only be heightened by the news that the black box from last night’s tragic plane crash in Buffalo was discovered within a mere 15 hours.

Furthermore, both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder were in perfect condition, as you can see from the image below.

"The black box of a commercial airliner that nose-dived into a Buffalo house in New York has been retrieved, about 15 hours after the incident," reports Press TV.

The flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder "have been found and they are on their way back here," said Ted Lopatkiewicz a spokesman for the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), AFP reported on Friday.

The motivation behind lying about the recovery of the black boxes on 9/11 is obvious - any aspect of the recordings of the onboard conversations between the pilots or the movements of their plane that didn’t coalesce with the official story would have destroyed the fairy tale that was being constructed around the attacks in the very minutes and hours after they started to unfold.

Questions about how a handful of men with box cutters could have overpowered burly ex-military pilots and scores of passengers with apparent ease would not have gone unanswered.
The circumstances surrounding the Buffalo crash and the Beijing skyscraper fire are two events that happened in the same week which offer stark contradictions and only place the credibility of the official 9/11 story further in doubt.

Why do everyday Americans and the media deify Abraham Lincoln when, in reality, he was one of our worst Presidents?

From classrooms, to the media, to chatter among everyday Americans, you can't escape the false indoctrination that Lincoln was "a great man".

by Larry Simons
February 12, 2009

You couldn't escape the media love affair with Abraham Lincoln today. Sure, it was the anniversary of his 200th birthday, but it's one thing to simply acknowledge a historical fact; it's another to ignore unpleasant facts and transform them into a savior-like biography. That's what all the networks did today. Elevated one of the worst presidents we ever had to Messiah status.

How could the media miss their golden opportunity to continue to glorify Barack Obama by equating him with Lincoln, in whom we have been repeatedly lied to about having done such wonderful things, all of which frighteningly have enjoyed widespread acceptance for over 140 years?

Obama has been continually compared to Lincoln without any explanation why. On some websites, Obama's image has been placed on the penny and even on a recent cover of Newsweek, both figuers were pictured. Kind of ironic since Lincoln was a racist and only issued the Emancipation Proclamation for political gain, not because of any moral problem with slavery.

I couldn't write a better story on Lincoln, so I'm posting a column by Charley Reese from 2005:

I can remember when Congress took the disgraceful step of lumping the birthdays of our Founding Fathers into a generic three-day weekend. Pressure to do so came from federal-employee unions, the travel industry and, of course, Congress itself. Nobody loves a three-day weekend more than Congress.

The point of the original holidays was to honor the men on their birthdays. Certainly today's Americans need to know more about presidents like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and their thoughts on public-policy matters. They are lost completely, however, when it is all turned into an excuse for a minivacation.

Abraham Lincoln's birthday was also merged into this generic holiday, and his life, too, is important for Americans to study. Washington and Jefferson created the republic; Lincoln destroyed it. Scholars are at last beginning to dig out the real Lincoln from the layers of deification that were created by cynical men who, while he lived, had habitually referred to him as a "baboon" or an "idiot."

The real Lincoln is a much more interesting man than the saintly figure created for partisan purposes. He had his flaws as well as his virtues. He was a racist. He was an intensely ambitious man who would say and do anything to win public office. He was belligerently anti-Christian, though once elected he hid his true beliefs from the public. He freed no slaves. And there is some evidence, though circumstantial, that he was homosexual. He was also an inveterate vulgarian. Right after delivering the magnificent Gettysburg Address, he ordered the band to play bawdyhouse songs. Nor, according to his contemporaries, was he tenderhearted. He is described as indifferent to the enormous suffering his war was causing.

All of these facts were widely known during his lifetime, and most were included in the original memoir by his longtime law partner. Unfortunately, each subsequent edition was sanitized, so that today most Americans know nothing of the real man who was far more complex than his accepted image. He was not an intellectual, though one of his cabinet officers said he was "cunning to the point of genius."

As for the Gettysburg Address, H.L. Mencken put it quite truly when he said it was one of the most beautiful prose poems in the English language, but added that the trouble was it was the South, not the North, that was fighting for a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Lincoln practically imposed a dictatorship on the Northern states, closed down nearly 300 newspapers and had thousands of people arrested. Any critic of his administration or the war was dubbed a traitor. Virtually everything he did was unconstitutional. And his administration was corrupt.

All Americans need to know the true history of their country, for the country we live in today is a product of that history, not of the fictional history. You can find out more about Lincoln by reading two books with the same title –
The Real Lincoln. The modern book is by Thomas DiLorenzo, a fine scholar; and the older book, a reprint, is by Charles L.C. Minor. It is published by Sprinkle Publications, P.O. Box 1094, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

In contrast with Lincoln, the more you learn about Washington, the more you realize that he truly was one of the great men of all time. Very few men can be said to be indispensable, but some historians believe that Washington really was indispensable. Without him, we might well not have succeeded against the British and almost certainly would not have had the republic he and his contemporaries created.

It's no wonder modern politicians don't talk about him. Everything he warned against, they have embraced; everything he urged us to do, they have neglected to do. And the mess we are in today only proves how right Washington was and how wrong today's politicians are.

Here is Thomas DiLorenzo speaking about the REAL Lincoln

Here is an outstanding column written by DiLorenzo on Lincoln's birthday in 2002:

Every February 12 Americans think they are celebrating Lincoln’s birthday. But what they are really celebrating is the birth of the Leviathan state that Lincoln, more than anyone else, is responsible for bringing about. No wonder federal politicos have made his birth date a national holiday, engraved his face is on Mount Rushmore, built a Venus-like statue of him in Washington, D.C., and put his mugshot on the five dollar bill.

More than 130 years of government propaganda has hidden this fact from the American people by creating a Mythical Lincoln that never existed. Take, for instance, the fact that everyone supposedly knows – that Lincoln was an abolitionist. This would be a surprise to the preeminent Lincoln scholar, Pulitzer prize-winning Lincoln biographer David Donald, who in his 1961 book, Lincoln Reconsidered, wrote that "Lincoln was not an abolitionist." And he wasn’t. He was glad to accept on behalf of the Republican Party any votes from abolitionists, but real abolitionists despised him. William Lloyd Garrison, the most prominent of all abolitionists, concluded that Lincoln "had not a drop of anti-slavery blood in his veins."

Garrison knew Lincoln well. He knew that Lincoln stated over and over again for his entire adult life that he did not believe in social or political equality of the races, he opposed inter-racial marriage, supported the Illinois constitution’s prohibition of immigration of blacks into the state, once defended in court a slaveowner seeking to retrieve his runaway slaves but never defended a runaway, and that he was a lifelong advocate of colonization – of sending every last black person in the U.S. to Africa, Haiti, or central America – anywhere but in the U.S.

Garrison and other abolitionists were also keenly aware that the January 1863 Emancipation Proclamation freed no one since it specifically exempted all the areas that at the time were occupied by federal armies. That is, all areas where slaves could actually have been freed.

Historians have portrayed the Mythical Lincoln as a man who brooded for decades over how he could someday free the slaves. Nothing could be more absurd. According to Roy Basler, the editor of Lincoln’s Collected Works, Lincoln never even mentioned slavery in a speech until 1854, and even then, says Basler, he was not sincere.

When Lincoln first entered state politics in 1832 he announced that he was doing so for three reasons: To help enact the Whig Party agenda of protectionist tariffs, corporate welfare subsidies for railroad and canal-building corporations ("internal improvements"), and a government monopolization of the nation’s money supply. "My politics are short and sweet, like the old woman’s dance," he declared: "I am in favor of a national bank . . . the internal improvements system, and a high protective tariff." He was a devoted mercantilist, and remained so for his entire political life. He was single-mindedly devoted to Henry Clay and his political agenda (mentioned above), which Clay called "The American System."

Lincoln once announced that his career ambition was not to free the slaves but to become "the DeWitt Clinton of Illinois." DeWitt Clinton was the governor of New York in the early nineteenth century who is credited with having introduced the spoils system to America and supervising the building of the Erie Canal (which became defunct in a mere ten years because of the invention of the railroad).

Moreover, Lincoln destroyed the most important principle of the Declaration – the principle that governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. Southerners no longer consented to being governed by Washington, D.C. in 1860, and Lincoln put an end to that idea by having his armies slaughter 300,000 of them, including one out of every four white males between 20 and 40. Standardizing for today’s population, that would be the equivalent of around 3 million American deaths, or roughly 60 times the number of Americans who died in Vietnam.

As H.L. Mencken said of the Gettysburg Address, in which Lincoln absurdly claimed that Northern soldiers were fighting for the cause of self determination ("that government of the people . . . should not perish . . .": "It is difficult to imagine anything more untrue. The Union soldiers in the battle actually fought against self determination; it was the Confederates who fought for the right of their people to govern themselves. The Confederates went into the battle free; they came out with their freedom subject to the supervision of the rest of the country."

Another Lincoln myth was that he "saved the Constitution." But this claim is an outrage considering that Lincoln acted like a dictator for the duration of his administration and showed nothing but bitter contempt for the Constitution. Even Lincoln’s idolaters, like historian Clinton Rossiter, author of the book, Constitutional Dictatorship, referred to him as a "great dictator" who had an "amazing disregard for the Constitution . . . that was considered by nobody as legal."

The Dictator Lincoln invaded the South without the consent of Congress, as called for in the Constitution; declared martial law; blockaded Southern ports without a declaration of war, as required by the Constitution; illegally suspended the writ of habeas corpus; imprisoned without trial thousands of Northern anti-war protesters, including hundreds of newspaper editors and owners; censored all newspaper and telegraph communication; nationalized the railroads; created three new states without the consent of the citizens of those states in order to artificially inflate the Republican Party’s electoral vote; ordered Federal troops to interfere with Northern elections to assure Republican Party victories; deported Ohio Congressman Clement L. Vallandigham for opposing his domestic policies (especially protectionist tariffs and income taxation) on the floor of the House of Representatives; confiscated private property, including firearms, in violation of the Second Amendment; and effectively gutted the Tenth and Ninth Amendments as well.

As Dean Sprague correctly pointed out in Freedom Under Lincoln, all of these dictatorial acts were bad enough, but their real, long-term effect was to "lay the groundwork" for such unprecedented acts of coercion as military conscription and income taxation.

Hundreds of books have been written about Lincoln the humanitarian, a soft and gentle man. But from the very beginning of his administration he intentionally waged a cruel and unbelievably bloody war on civilians as well as soldiers. As early as 1861, Federal soldiers looted, pillaged, raped and plundered their way through Virginia and other Southern states, completely burning to the ground the towns of Jackson and Meridian, Mississippi, Randolph, Tennessee, and others. Historian Jeffrey Rogers Hummel estimates that some 50,000 Southern civilians were killed during the war, and this number, even if it is exaggerated by a multiple of two, most likely includes thousands of slaves. In his March to the Sea, General William Tecumseh Sherman boasted of having destroyed $100 million in private property and that his "soldiers" carried home another $20 million worth.

In his memoirs Sherman wrote that when he met with Lincoln after his March to the Sea was completed, Lincoln was eager to hear the stories of how thousands of Southern civilians, mostly women, children, and old men, were plundered, sometimes murdered, and rendered homeless.

Lincoln, according to Sherman, laughed almost uncontrollably at the stories. Even Sherman biographer Lee Kennett, who writes very favorably of the general, concluded that had the Confederates won the war, they would have been "justified in stringing up President Lincoln and the entire Union high command for violation of the laws of war, specifically for waging war against noncombatants."

Henry Clay’s American System had been vetoed as unconstitutional by virtually every president beginning with James Madison. But as soon as Lincoln took office, with the Southern Democrats absent from Congress, it was finally put into place, literally at gunpoint. In 1857 the average tariff rate was 15 percent, according to Frank Taussig’s classic, A Tariff History of the United States. The Morrill Tariff more than tripled that rate to 47 percent and it remained at that level for decades.

The National Currency Acts nationalized the banking system, finally, and lavish subsidies to railroad-building corporations generated the corruption and scandals of the Grant administrations, just as Southern statesmen had predicted for decades. Income taxation was introduced for the first time, along with an internal revenue bureaucracy that has never diminished in size. All of these policies put a great centralizing force into motion and were the genesis of the centralized, despotic state that Americans labor under today.

The biggest cost of the Lincoln’s war was the death of federalism and states’ rights, the value of which was expressed by John C. Calhoun several decades earlier when he said: "The great conservative principle of our system is in the people of the States, as parties to the Constitutional compact, and our opponents that it is in the supreme court . . . . Without a full practical recognition of the rights and sovereignty of the States, our union and liberty must perish." And they did.

Still Standing: The Building That Proves WTC 7 Was Imploded

New videos highlight vivid contrast of Mandarin Oriental Hotel fire to fires in WTC 7 before its free fall collapse

Paul Joseph Watson
February 10, 2009

New videos of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel fire in Beijing highlight the vivid contrast between the damage it suffered as it was completely consumed by roaring flames, yet remained standing, and the comparative sporadic fires across just 8 floors that led to the complete free fall collapse of WTC 7.

9/11 truth debunkers are in a bind as to how to respond to the Beijing skyscraper fire because of the building’s similarity in size to Building 7 and the gargantuan fire damage it suffered in comparison with the limited "office fires" witnessed in WTC 7. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is over 500 feet tall, just 100 feet short of the height of WTC 7.

The fires that consumed the Beijing building were on a completely different scale to those witnessed on 9/11, with the flames so violent and widespread that they masked almost the entire view of the building.

The best debunkers have come up with seems to be the false notion that the fires caused a partial collapse by making the building "lean". This is of course complete baloney because the facade of the building was designed to appear as if it was leaning in the first place, as the image below highlights, with shots before and after the fire.

Here is a larger, clearer picture of the building prior to the fire that shows the 'kink' that debunkers called a 'partial collapse' as it was burning

Since the Beijing building was still under construction, sprinkler systems had not been installed, providing another similarity to WTC 7, in which sprinkler systems malfunctioned before its collapse. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel was also a steel-framed building with a concrete core and may even have included steel salvaged from the debris of the twin towers and WTC 7 that was hastily shipped off to China shortly after 9/11.

Just take a look at the intensity of the fire that consumed the building but failed to bring it down in the following You Tube clip.

Now compare that with the fires that preceded the collapse of WTC 7.

How can any rational thinking person watch those two videos and lend any credence whatsoever to NIST’s claim that "thermal expansion" could have brought down WTC 7 into its own footprint, whereas the dramatic inferno that totally consumed the Beijing building had little structural effect whatsoever?

Apparently forgetting NIST’s newly invented "thermal expansion" theory, a scientific discovery that presumably has replaced the laws of physics, this Chinese news correspondent stands perilously close to the building completely unaware that since 9/11, all buildings that suffer minor fires, never mind towering infernos such as this, must collapse within 7 seconds into their own footprint.

Here are another clip for comparison.

The dramatic flames engulfing the Beijing building, compared to the restricted "office fires" in WTC 7.

Here are four more images of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel ablaze and the aftermath.

Who could have guessed the resulting damage of the two fires? In Beijing….

And on 9/11….

9/11 truth debunking websites have so far been silent on the Mandarin Oriental Hotel fire and are likely to remain so. Yesterday’s fire serves to reinforce facts and not the fairy tales that the official 9/11 story is based around - namely that fire cannot weaken or melt steel to the point where a building collapses at free fall speed into its own footprint, without the aid of explosives.

FOX News host says 9/11 truthers are 'mentally ill'; fails to mention his boss owns network he condemns for airing shows that mention 9/11 theories

The FX Channel (which is airing “Rescue Me”) is owned by the parent company of FOX News, News Corporation

by Larry Simons
February 6, 2009

On Thursday’s Fox and Friends, Red Eye host Greg Gutfeld discussed the upcoming season of “Rescue Me”, which airs on the FX channel and begins in April. It has been reported that the first 10 episodes of the upcoming season of “Rescue Me” is to deal with the conspiracies involving 9/11. One of the shows' stars, Daniel Sanjata, is a real-life 9/11 truther and his character on the show, firemen Franco Rivera, is also a 9/11 truther.

Talking with Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Gretchen Carlson, Gutfeld says this, “What angers me about this (the shows content) is that people are treating it with respect..” No, what really angers Gutfeld and his ilk is the fact that the 9/11 truth movement has now reached such a crescendo that it is now being included in major plot lines of hit TV shows.

Then Gutfeld says, “The New York Times ran a piece about it. They interviewed the producer — the producer described the actor, the actor believes this stuff, that the actor is well-read, very passionate about it. They say this sort of thing about conspiratorialists all the time, but they never say these people are idiots, they’re mentally ill, they shouldn’t be treated with respect.”

It’s very interesting to point out the fact that if this issue bothered Gutfeld as much as he claimed it did, when he was asked to be on Fox and Friends to discuss this, why didn’t he request that Daniel Sanjata be on the show as well, so all four of them (Gutfeld and the 3 Fox and Friends hosts) could ask Sanjata why he believes this and put his “theories” to the fire?

The answer is simple. Why go straight to the source for the facts when you can just sit in a chair and call people “mentally ill” and “crazy” and not have to answer one question pertaining to the 9/11 anomalies? Hell, they didn’t even show the clip of the show that was discussed!

Here is that clip from “Rescue Me”

Gutfeld then said this, “It’s an insult to people that were victims of 9/11 and their families. It’s an insult to firefighters. I am surprised they are doing this.” Really now Greg? It’s an insult to Bill Doyle, who just happens to be the head of the largest 9/11 families group (who believes the government was complicit in the attacks)? It’s an insult to the scores of firefighters who also believe 9/11 was an inside job? They even have their own website here where many of them have written articles about their beliefs.

So, Gutfelds’ conclusion that firefighters and families would be offended is simply just made up and based on zero evidence. Just another example of FOX News propaganda and repetition. If it’s said enough times (that truthers are crazy and all victims’ families are offended) well, must be true!

Gutfeld then makes a bizarre comparison, “It just drives me nuts to say that somebody…just because you’re passionate about something, you’re right. Well, Mark David Chapman was passionate about the Beatles, and he did what he did was horrible, so, you just because you believe in something, doesn’t make it right.” How in the hell is Mark David Chapman an accurate analogy to a 9/11 truther? Is he saying we are nutballs who might kill someone? It sure sounds like that’s what he’s implying to me!

Investigating a blatantly covered-up terror attack and speaking out against it is now synonymous with brutally murdering one of the most famous singers in the history of music? I realize that Gutfeld’s point was that “just because you believe something in your mind, doesn’t make it right”, but this is not an accurate portrayal of what the 9/11 truth movement is.

A vast majority of the 9/11 issues discussed by truth activists are not theories, but documented facts. No plane parts at the Pentagon and Shanksville---FACT. Building 7 collapsing due to “fire” in 6 seconds and having every single characteristic of a controlled demolition---FACT. The use of the Mark David Chapman comparison was obviously an attempt to psychologically influence the Fox and Friends viewers to conjure up images of 9/11 truthers shooting people who do not accept their views.

Gutfeld gets one major thing wrong in his comparison of truthers to Mark David Chapman. 9/11 truthers do not say they are 100% right about every topic mentioned. This is why we want new investigations started, to have ALL questions asked an answered. Chapman was never an activist or protester. He never spoke out about any injustices that he claimed no one listened to him about. He was simply a psychotic fan who was obsessed with the J.D. Salinger book, The Catcher in the Rye.

The most amazing point to be made about this entire segment is that Gutfeld calls 9/11 truthers “mentally ill” and “crazy” but completely leaves out the fact that the FX network is owned by the parent company of FOX News, News Corporation. Did Gutfeld just admit that his own employer, News Corporation, is mentally ill as well? It would appear to me that if you let something be broadcast that you feel is “nutty” that would make you (at the very least) equally “nutty”, maybe even more “nutty”.

Gutfeld also displays another characteristic of defenders of the official conspiracy theory: calling 9/11 truthers "nutty"and "crazy" but yet not refuting one claim they make. Instead of admitting that gatekeepers of the official story like him are afraid of the hard questions and the obvious cover-ups surrounding Sept. 11, 2001 (from the whitewash of the 9/11 commission to the 80+ unreleased Pentagon videos, just to name a few), they make other excuses for their fear of confronting 9/11 truthers. Gutfeld also never explains why, if truthers are so "nutty", he is afraid to have them on Red Eye as guests so he could tear them to shreds with facts and make them look like the crazy people he claims they are. Perhaps the reason is because truthers would make him look like the babbling buffoon?

Like clockwork, Gutfeld does not disappoint by saying, “People are too scared to confront the 9/11 conspiracies cause, it’s like the crazy guy on the subway, you don’t want to make eye contact, but eventually you gotta make eye contact. You gotta tell that guy to get lost.”

No, they aren’t afraid of a so-called “conspiracy theory” because if they were, they would be afraid of the official story (a conspiracy as well [21 people involved; 19 hijackers, bin Laden and Zacarias Moussaoui, hence, conspiracy]). They are afraid of hearing the actual documented facts of 9/11, or the plethora of questions about that day that were never asked in the 9/11 Commission hearings. Most of all, they are afraid of the life change they would have to undergo if they heard all the facts and were convinced a cover-up was the unequivocal truth.

Human beings are creatures of habit. They don’t want to change their lives. They want a perpetual state of comfort. Believing an unpopular thing (even if it’s the truth) is not comfortable. It’s a burden, it’s work, it takes years of research and could also make them targets of ridicule and persecution…things that comfortable people do not want to take on. Those people are the very ones sitting in their living rooms watching Greg Gutfeld spew his unchallenged bullshit and lapping it up like a cat licking its ass.

Fair and balanced? I was keeping score. I counted 4 Bush supporters and 0 truthers. I guess FOX was scared to have any “mentally ill” people on the show for fear that the ‘nutballs’ would have humiliated the 4 stooges with fact after fact.

U.S. Troops In Black Helicopters Invade New Orleans, Drop Bombs

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
February 5, 2009

The New Orleans Police Department, along with 150 active duty U.S. troops, are currently engaging in what they describe as "military training" as black helicopters whizz around the city dropping bombs in the latest example of Americans being incrementally conditioned to accept a state of de facto martial law.

The training has been ongoing since January 27 and involves "the use of military helicopters flying after dark throughout the city," according to an Associated Press report.

Residents were warned "not to panic" if they witnessed the training and were assured that the activities had "been carefully planned and are safe".

However, initial reports before the exercises began claimed that the training would only involve police, when in fact 150 U.S. troops from the U.S. Special Operations Command are also involved as part of urban warfare training.

Residents described hearing low flying helicopters and even bombs during the course of last night.

"I heard a bunch of explosions starting at about 10 p.m. They were about ten seconds apart, and then they’d stop, and we thought it was over, but then they started again," said Gigi Burk.

The exercises are scheduled to end on February 8.

The militarization of law enforcement has rapidly advanced since 9/11 as part of a general program to prepare Americans for outright martial law following a mass casualty event.

A new bill introduced in Congress authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to set up a network of FEMA camp facilities to be used to house U.S. citizens in the event of a national emergency.

The National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645 mandates the establishment of "national emergency centers" to be located on military installations for the purpose of to providing "temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster," according to the bill.

With active duty military personnel already being stationed inside the U.S. under Northcom, partly for purposes of "crowd control," fears that Americans could be incarcerated in detainment camps are all too real.

A resident filmed the helicopters at night around the University of New Orleans Lakefront Campus on February 3. Watch the clip below.
