Alex Jones interviews Vincent Bugliosi about “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder”

Bugliosi gives explicit details of how George W. Bush can be charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder

This interview is actually a month old. It was conducted the very day Bugliosi’s book came out on May 27, 2008. I completely missed it. I apologize…but here it is. It is EXCELLENT!

Bugliosi explains why the media has been completely silent on his book. “The mainstream media is terrified. They do not want to touch this book at all”, explains Bugliosi. Bugliosi says that he even had a tough time finding a publisher, despite the fact that the publishers were sympathetic with the content of the book and recognized the marketing potential. They were in total fear of the right-wing.

Billo….you’re making this WAY too easy

Billo an airs old clip of him asking George Carlin why he uses the “F” word, when the “F” bomb is no stranger to Billo

by Larry Simons
June 25, 2008

I’m really starting to believe Billo does this on purpose just for the “audacity factor”, but at the same time I can’t help but to feel that this is just who Billo is: A lunatic that is LITERALLY losing his mind.

On yesterday’s [June 23] telecast of “The O’ Reilly Factor”, in yet another one of his incredibly stupid segments called “Reality Check” (oh brother, isn’t this like O.J. Simpson having a show and doing a segment called “People Who Should Be in Jail for Murder”?), Billo shows a clip from April of 2001, when he had the late George Carlin on his show.

Billo asks Carlin, “When I see a guy like you, and I say ‘Well, why does he need to use the “F” word, when he can punch the line, get the laugh without the “F” word?’. Why do you need to use it?” Carlin then goes on to say that he doesn’t need to use the word, but it’s a choice. The point here is that O’ Reilly seems to be implying that you really don’t need to use the “F” word, regardless of the purpose or the scenario.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????……………….

Billo, why are you making your hypocrisy so easy to expose? At least Carlin had an excuse to use the “F” word. He was a comedian. Sometimes it’s as necessary to use profanity in a stand-up routine as it is to have profanity in certain movies. It’s a reality of life. Why did YOU have to use it, Billo? It’s NOT a reality of life to go insane while reading a TelePrompTer while taping a show! (But, it's YOUR reality, because you're a lunatic)

This was the BEST clip you had to honor the life of George Carlin? I guess your dishonor of Carlin was either because it was his ONLY appearance on your show or just maybe it's because when Carlin appeared on “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” just this past October [2007], he called Olbermann’s show “the best news show ever"! (and we all know how much you hate NBC) Which was it Billo? I say BOTH.

Billo, you’re a hypocritical FRAUD and an embarrassment to journalism and to humanity!

Here’s how Keith Olbermann honored Carlin. Notice how Keith actually HONORS him. Billo’s clip was just a mere acknowledgment that Carlin died. Well, FOX is improving! Most of the time they don’t even ACKNOWLEDGE news!

Here is Billo capturing Worst Person in the World yet AGAIN (as well as the silver!)

McCain Campaign Hopes For Terror Attack To Swing Vote

More dead Americans on U.S. soil would be "big advantage" says top strategist

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
June 23, 2008

Top McCain strategist Charlie Black tells Fortune Magazine that a terrorist attack on U.S. soil would aid the Arizona Senator to overturn Barack Obama's lead and be a "big advantage" in helping him become President.

In an article entitled The evolution of John McCain, Black notes that the assassination of Benazir Bhutto in December "helped" the McCain campaign because it gave the Senator an opportunity to grandstand as a tough would-be Commander-in-Chief.

Black then brazenly points out that another 9/11-style attack would give the McCain campaign the boost it needs to claw back Barack Obama's estimated 7 per cent lead over the Senator.

The assassination of Benazir Bhutto in December was an "unfortunate event," says Black. "But his knowledge and ability to talk about it reemphasized that this is the guy who's ready to be Commander-in-Chief. And it helped us." As would, Black concedes with startling candor after we raise the issue, another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. "Certainly it would be a big advantage to him," says Black.

In response to the comments, CNN's Jack Cafferty today asked his audience if Black should be fired.

"Who says this stuff? Black has already come under fire for his work on behalf of an international assortment of goons, thugs, autocrats, and dictators… from whom he took tons of money in exchange for arranging access to the power corridors of Washington. Black has resigned from his work as a lobbyist," writes Cafferty.

"Here’s my question to you: Should McCain adviser Charlie Black be fired for saying a terrorist attack would help McCain’s chances?"

Black's comments follow a lineage of outrageous statements on behalf of Neo-Cons and administration officials who yearn for terror as a means of entrenching political power.

In a Washington Times report last month, national intelligence spooks all but promised that history would be repeated for a third time running, and the new President of the United States will be welcomed into office by a terror attack that will occur within the first year of his tenure.

In addition, shocking excerpts of confidential recordings recently released under the Freedom of Information Act feature former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld talking with top military analysts about how a flagging Neo-Con political agenda could be successfully restored with the aid of another terrorist attack on America.

Numerous Neo-Con's morbid fascination and bloodlust for terror attacks and dead Americans to rescue their flagging political agenda has spilled out in public statements over the last year.

The real terrorists are coming out of the closet as they can no longer conceal their desire to see more carnage in U.S. cities.

The latest example was former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who during a Long Island bookstore appearance stated, "The more successful they've been at intercepting and stopping bad guys, the less proof there is that we're in danger. And therefore, the better they've done at making sure there isn't an attack, the easier it is to say, 'Well, there never was going to be an attack anyway.' And it's almost like they should every once in a while have allowed an attack to get through just to remind us."

In August last year Philadelphia Daily News columnist Stu Bykofsky openly called for "another 9/11" that "would help America" restore a "community of outrage and national resolve".

Lt.-Col. Doug Delaney, chair of the war studies program at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, told the Toronto Star last July that "The key to bolstering Western resolve is another terrorist attack like 9/11 or the London transit bombings of two years ago."

The same sentiment was also explicitly expressed in a 2005 GOP memo, which yearned for new attacks that would "validate" the President's war on terror and "restore his image as a leader of the American people."

Also in July 2007, former Republican Senator Rick Santorum suggested that a series of "unfortunate events," namely terrorist attacks, will occur within the next year and change American citizen's perception of the war.

And the month before that, the new chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party Dennis Milligan said that there needed to be more attacks on American soil for President Bush to regain popular approval.

George Carlin, a true legend, is gone at 71

George Carlin, Splenetic Comedian, Dies at 71

by Mel Watkins
The New York Times
June 22, 2008

George Carlin, the Grammy-Award winning standup comedian and actor who was hailed for his irreverent social commentary, poignant observations of the absurdities of everyday life and language, and groundbreaking routines like “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television,” died in Santa Monica, Calif., on Sunday, according to his publicist, Jeff Abraham. He was 71.

The cause of death was heart failure. Mr. Carlin, who had a history of heart problems, went into the hospital on Sunday afternoon after complaining of heart trouble. The comedian had worked last weekend at The Orleans in Las Vegas.

Recently, Mr. Carlin was named the recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. He was to receive the award at the Kennedy Center in November. “In his lengthy career as a comedian, writer, and actor, George Carlin has not only made us laugh, but he makes us think,” said Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Kennedy Center chairman. “His influence on the next generation of comics has been far-reaching.”

Mr. Carlin began his standup comedy act in the late 1950s and made his first television solo guest appearance on “The Merv Griffin Show” in 1965. At that time, he was primarily known for his clever wordplay and reminiscences of his Irish working-class upbringing in New York.

But from the outset there were indications of an anti-establishment edge to his comedy. Initially, it surfaced in the witty patter of a host of offbeat characters like the wacky sportscaster Biff Barf and the hippy-dippy weatherman Al Sleet. “The weather was dominated by a large Canadian low, which is not to be confused with a Mexican high. Tonight’s forecast . . . dark, continued mostly dark tonight turning to widely scattered light in the morning.”

Mr. Carlin released his first comedy album, “Take-Offs and Put-Ons,” to rave reviews in 1967.

He also dabbled in acting, winning a recurring part as Marlo Thomas’ theatrical agent in the sitcom “That Girl” (1966-67) and a supporting role in the movie “With Six You Get Egg-Roll,” released in 1968.

By the end of the decade, he was one of America’s best known comedians. He made more than 80 major television appearances during that time, including the Ed Sullivan Show and Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show; he was also regularly featured at major nightclubs in New York and Las Vegas.

That early success and celebrity, however, was as dinky and hollow as a gratuitous pratfall to Mr. Carlin. “I was entertaining the fathers and the mothers of the people I sympathized with, and in some cases associated with, and whose point of view I shared,” he recalled later, as quoted in the book “Going Too Far” by Tony Hendra, which was published in 1987. “I was a traitor, in so many words. I was living a lie.”

In 1970, Mr. Carlin discarded his suit, tie, and clean-cut image as well as the relatively conventional material that had catapulted him to the top. Mr. Carlin reinvented himself, emerging with a beard, long hair, jeans and a routine that, according to one critic, was steeped in “drugs and bawdy language.”

There was an immediate backlash. The Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas terminated his three-year contract, and, months later, he was advised to leave town when an angry mob threatened him at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club. Afterward, he temporarily abandoned the nightclub circuit and began appearing at coffee houses, folk clubs and colleges where he found a younger, hipper audience that was more attuned to both his new image and his material.

By 1972, when he released his second album, “FM & AM,” his star was again on the rise. The album, which won a Grammy Award as best comedy recording, combined older material on the “AM” side with bolder, more acerbic routines on the “FM” side. Among the more controversial cuts was a routine euphemistically entitled “Shoot,” in which Mr. Carlin explored the etymology and common usage of the popular idiom for excrement. The bit was part of the comic’s longer routine “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television,” which appeared on his third album “Class Clown,” also released in 1972.

“There are some words you can say part of the time. Most of the time ‘ass’ is all right on television,” Mr. Carlin noted in his introduction to the then controversial monologue. “You can say, well, ‘You’ve made a perfect ass of yourself tonight.’ You can use ass in a religious sense, if you happen to be the redeemer riding into town on one — perfectly all right.”

The material seems innocuous by today’s standards, but it caused an uproar when broadcast on the New York radio station WBAI in the early ’70s. The station was censured and fined by the FCC. And in 1978, their ruling was supported by the Supreme Court, which Time magazine reported, “upheld an FCC ban on ‘offensive material’ during hours when children are in the audience.” Mr. Carlin refused to drop the bit and was arrested several times after reciting it on stage.

By the mid-’70s, like his comic predecessor Lenny Bruce and the fast-rising Richard Pryor, Mr. Carlin had emerged as a cultural renegade. In addition to his irreverent jests about religion and politics, he openly talked about the use of drugs, including acid and peyote, and said that he kicked cocaine not for moral or legal reasons but after he found “far more pain in the deal than pleasure.” But the edgier, more biting comedy he developed during this period, along with his candid admission of drug use, cemented his reputation as the “comic voice of the counterculture.”

Mr. Carlin released a half dozen comedy albums during the ’70s, including the million-record sellers “Class Clown,” “Occupation: Foole” (1973) and “An Evening With Wally Lando” (1975).

He was chosen to host the first episode of the late-night comedy show “Saturday Night Live” in 1975. And two years later, he found the perfect platform for his brand of acerbic, cerebral, sometimes off-color standup humor in the fledgling, less restricted world of cable television.

By 1977, when his first HBO comedy special, “George Carlin at USC” was aired, he was recognized as one of the era’s most influential comedians. He also become a best-selling author of books that expanded on his comedy routines, including “When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?,” which was published by Hyperion in 2004.

John Bolton “forgets” what party was in office on 9/11 and what party he worked for

The Neo-cons continue the “vote Democrat equals terror attack” bullshit. This shows their desperation.

by Larry Simons
June 21, 2008

Yesterday, on John Gibson’s ONLY show now (his radio show; his TV show on FOX News was canceled), he hosted former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton. The two warmongering Neo-cons were discussing Barack Obama’s foreign policies and how he would handle terror if elected President.

Bolton repeated the same old tired, bullshit rhetoric that has been spewed by every Neo-con on radio or TV in the last 7 years; that Democrats will be weak on terror and allow more terrorist attacks.

Here’s the dialogue and audio:

GIBSON: The Obama team is going back to some of the old complaints about the war and the war on terror…that the left has been articulating for a long time now, and not really coming up with anything new.

BOLTON: Yeah I think honestly that’s an optimistic view of it, that it will simply be a replay of the Clinton administration. It will simply have more embassy bombings, more bombings of our warships like the Cole, more World Trade Center attacks. That would be the best outcome from that perspective.

Someone might want to remind Bolton who was in office on September 11, 2001. He seems to have forgotten. Oh, and yes, he also seems to have forgotten who was the Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security ON September 11, 2001……..uh….JOHN BOLTON!!!!

What is interesting is how Bolton and John “the albino” Gibson leave out that Clinton (although he is just another corrupt global elitist like Bush) actually was pro-active and DID things to stop foreign terrorists BEFOREHAND. Clinton signed Presidential Decision Directive 39 in 1995, which instructed the CIA to capture foreign terrorists by force, even without their host governments’ involvement.

Clinton’s CIA also created a unit whose code name was “Alec Station” whose main purpose was to capture Bin Laden.

Then, in 1998, Clinton created the office of national coordinator for counterterrorism and hired Richard Clarke as its head.

It has been under the Bush administration that absolutely NOTHING has been done in the fight to defeat terrorism, unless you would like to count reducing the freedoms of law-abiding Americans and attacking countries that were NO THREAT whatsoever to the United States as “doing something about terror”.

In the months leading up to 9-11, at no other time in our nations’ history was the terror alert as high as it was in June-September 2001, and what did Bush do to address this? Vacationed the ENTIRE MONTH of August 2001 at his ranch in Crawford, Texas (even IGNORING a Presidential Daily Briefing on August 6, 2001 titled, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike IN U.S.”)

And who can forget the DAY of 9-11 when Bush knew America was under attack? Of course Bush (being the great terrorism destroyer he is) got right up from his seat in the Florida classroom and handled the “terr-ists”, right? Of course not. He sat on his ass and later told people “I didn’t want the panic the kids”, although he never explained how the kids would have been panicked since they didn’t know planes even hit the towers!

Unless Barack Obama’s foreign policy is to ignore 3 or 4 Presidential Daily Briefings that have titles like, “Bin Laden will blow up the White House TODAY” or he plans to sit on his ass for 35 minutes straight while reading to kids as the entire United States is on fire, then he cannot, I repeat, CANNOT possibly be any worse than the worst President in United States history…George W Bush.

Bolton also conveniently fails to mention the scores of Neo-cons who have hoped and prayed for more terrorist attacks in the past 2 years (who ALL just happen to be Republicans); Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Donald Rumsfeld, Michael Reagan and Dennis Milligan, to name just a few.

The “Democrats will cause more terror/Republicans will save you from terror” bullshit is getting tiresome, FAST. There are only two classes of people in Washington, and it’s not Democrats/Republicans. There are those who want to protect the Constitution and those who want to destroy it.

I think we can all take a lucky guess at what group the FOX News fucktards are in.

Reagan's "Apology": Weak, Perfunctory & Disingenuous

Wannabe baby killer should be kicked off the air, but Radio America protecting neo-con host

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
June 17, 2008

Radio talk show host Michael Reagan's weak, perfunctory and disingenuous "apology" to Mark Dice for encouraging the activist be murdered for sending 9/11 truth material to U.S. troops only further necessitates the case for legal action to be taken in order to end the spiraling cycle of Neo-Con intimidation and smear.

Furthermore, it now appears that Radio America representatives have failed to inform the President of Radio America about Reagan's comments in an attempt to protect him from any potential discipline.

According to Mark Dice's website, "Radio America has said that they will NOT fire Reagan for his comments. The communications director refused to answer whether the president of the company was aware of Reagan's comments, leading us to believe that they are keeping this information from him, in order to protect Reagan."

Had Reagan prostrated himself and vigorously displayed remorse for his disgusting comments during the interview with Dice yesterday then Dice may have considered taking the high road, but the fact that Reagan still views his statements as no more obscene that Mark Dice's efforts to inform the soldiers underscores the fact that further action needs to be taken.

You won't have heard about it in the corporate media so we'll happily reprint Reagan's original statement once again.

Last week on his nationally syndicated show, Reagan stated, "We ought to find the people who are doing this, take them out and shoot them. Really. You take them out, they are traitors to this country, and shoot them. You have a problem with that? Deal with it. You shoot them. You call them traitors, that’s what they are, and you shoot them dead. I’ll pay for the bullets."

Mark Dice's decision to report the death threat to the FBI and pursue an FCC investigation of Reagan led to the talk show host offering his "apology" yesterday before scurrying out of the country.

In reality, the interview with Dice was merely exploited by Reagan as an opportunity to make himself appear as the victim while hardly allowing Dice to get a word in.

Listen to the interview via You Tube.

Isn't it ironic that after 19 minutes of Reagan continually fading down and interrupting Dice, he has the gall to claim, "You're talking over me!"

In response to Dice's analogy of what would happen if a left-wing radio host called for the "unequivocal tracking down and murder" of an individual, Reagan claimed that Mike Malloy and Randy Rhodes had called for the murder of George Bush - a complete lie and another probable case of slander in and of itself.

The interview was pre-recorded and so Dice's most powerful statements were most likely edited out. There is a notable piece of editing when Dice questions Reagan's claim that he is still in the country despite telling Dice in an earlier private conversation that he was imminently leaving the country. During this sequence, Dice is completely cut off while Reagan talks over him.

Reagan invoked death threats against his father Ronald Reagan, who died four years ago, and also calls made to his cellphone by "your people" as an excuse to downplay the serious nature of his comments.

The only time when Reagan shut his mouth completely was when Dice read out California's Penal Code 422, which clearly illustrates that Reagan's comments fit the bill for terroristic threats.

Reagan's macabre obsession with violent murder was no more evident than in an August 2006 radio segment when he encouraged Arab babies in the Middle East be blown up by shoving "a grenade up their butts," while also stating that "there'll be peace when everybody in the Middle East is dead."

Reagan's foul, Hitlerian, racist and criminal statements can no longer be defined as free speech. When a national talk show host publicly calls for killing babies and puts out a contract on someone's life with 4 million people listening, action must be swift and severe.

At the very least, Reagan should be fired and never allowed to broadcast again. Don Imus was fired for much less and became the subject of national media obsession, yet not one mainstream news outlet has reported on Reagan's disgraceful comments.

Once again it is up to us, the alternative media and truth activists, to pressure the FCC into investigating Reagan by filing a report and kicking this cretin off the airwaves for good.

When "Sorry" Is Not Good Enough

Reagan has to be made an example of by the courts and the FCC for contracting murder against American citizens for their political viewpoints

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
June 16, 2008

With Michael Reagan set to offer his "apology" today to Mark Dice, for whom last week he all but put out a contract on his life for sending 9/11 truth material to U.S. troops, some are asking whether Reagan should be made an example of by the FCC and the courts in order to put a halt to a culture of Neo-Con intimidation that is chilling free speech in America.

Why do Neo-Cons think they can solicit murder against Americans for their political beliefs, as well as advocating terrorist attacks and get away with it?

Imagine if Alex Jones encouraged on-air assassinations of Neo-Con figureheads. He'd be SWAT teamed quicker than you can say "double standard".

Neo-Cons claim that our free speech should be restricted because we are expressing radical opinions yet they think its perfectly within the remit of their free speech to advocate lining people up in front of firing squads and blowing their brains out.

Anti-war activists and 9/11 truth demonstrators go to great lengths to emphasize the fact that they are non-violent and are simply peaceably trying to educate people, and the track record of their behavior bears that sentiment out.

Yet we are the ones constantly demonized, smeared and castigated by the establishment media as a vile irritant at best and at worst - terrorist sympathizers.

Imagine if someone like Keith Olbermann or an Air America radio host had openly called for the murder of "conservative" activists and volunteered to fund the contract hit. The FCC would shut them down in an instant, the FBI and Secret Service would descend and the corporate media would be all over the story.

Yet nearly a week after Reagan's disgusting comments and not one single mainstream media source has covered the issue. Just one "liberal" blog - Raw Story - has mentioned the story.

As we have documented, Reagan has quite clearly broken the law. His comments fit perfectly California's Penal Code 422 description for terroristic threats.

"Punishment for (Terrorist) Threats Any person who willfully threatens to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person with the specific intent that the statement made verbally in writing or by means of an electronic communication device is to be taken as a threat even if there is no intent of actually carrying it out which on its face and under the circumstances in which it is made is so unequivocal unconditional immediate and specific as to convey to the person threatened a gravity of purpose and an immediate prospect of execution of the threat and thereby causes that person reasonably to be in sustained fear for his or her own safety or for his or her immediate family's safety shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed one year or by imprisonment in the state prison."

Whether Reagan genuinely regrets his comments or not, he is ostensibly set to apologize to Mark Dice today in an attempt to offset criminal charges.

Is an apology enough? Should Reagan be made an example of to put a stop to the culture of Neo-Con intimidation tactics that are chilling free speech?

Mark Dice

Some say that Mark Dice should simply cease communicating with Reagan and pursue the FCC and FBI route that he embarked upon immediately after the comments were made.

Why isn't this enough?," writes Sherry Baker, "Death threats are not a trivial thing. He wasn't joking. He offered to buy the bullets for some crazy to do the job. He described in detail how Dice should be killed (no blindfold.. let's add some extra torture the neocons are so fond of to the scenario is Reagan's creed, apparently)."

"Reagan and Dice both live in California and California law enforcement needs to get off their collective butt and do something. "I want you to imagine if Dice went on a national radio show and said Reagan should be killed and went on to explain in detail how serious he was and how it should happen."

"Do you think for one minute Reagan wouldn't be all over Dice with lawyers and threats and outrage shrieked on every stupid Fox News program he could waddle onto and blither, jowls quivering in outrage?"

Over at 9/11 Blogger, "Reprehensor" reckons Dice is only doing Reagan a favor by going on his show.

"If you go on Reagan's show tomorrow, you will legitimize him, and possibly jade the judgment of the FCC, who must decide if they will act against Reagan."

"We couldn't do anything about Geraldo's conflation of 9/11 Truthers with terrorists, because FOX News is primarily a cable broadcast, it doesn't go out over public airwaves, and the FCC normally doesn't do anything about cable broadcasts."

"Reagan is different. Let him be hoisted by his own petard, his big mouth."

"Don't set a precedent by giving Reagan a way out. If rabid radio jocks are going to suggest that people get shot, they must answer to the FCC."

The final decision is ultimately down to Mark Dice. If Dice feels that Reagan is genuinely repentent then the temptation to accept his apology and discontinue legal action just to avoid the hassle would be there for all of us in a similar situation.

However, if Dice chooses to dig in and help set a precedent for the protection of free speech by making an example out of Reagan via the right channels, then he can count on the full support of an army of truth activists who are sick and tired of being threatened, harassed and intimidated simply for exercising their first amendment rights.

Judging by Dice's update to his press release, the latter option looks more likely.

"While I understand different political opinions can result in heated arguments, Reagan’s statements are completely unacceptable, un-American, and extremely dangerous. Reagan has elevated the hate and rhetoric aimed at those who disagree with this war to new and unprecedented level. He must be fired immediately and no other radio or TV network should let his voice be heard, or his face be seen," writes Dice.

"Despite Reagan’s apology, the Pandora’s box that he opened can never be closed. The ramifications of his threats and suggestions are enormous and frightening. In an age where a few clicks of a keyboard can result in anyone’s home address being found, Reagan’s comments open the door for stalking, vandalism, and worse. Any threats made will be forwarded immediately to the FBI and the appropriate legal action will be taken," he concludes.

NBC’s Tim Russert dies of heart attack at 58

Washington bureau chief, ‘Meet the Press’ moderator collapsed on job

MSNBC
June 14, 2008

WASHINGTON - Tim Russert, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief and the moderator of “Meet the Press,” died Friday after suffering a heart attack at the bureau. He was 58.

Russert was recording voiceovers for Sunday’s “Meet the Press” broadcast when he collapsed. He was rushed to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, where resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.

Russert’s physician, Michael Newman, said cholesterol plaque ruptured in an artery, causing sudden coronary thrombosis.

Russert had earlier been diagnosed with asymptomatic coronary artery disease, but it was well-controlled with medication and exercise, and he had performed well on a stress test in late April, Newman said. An autopsy revealed that he also had an enlarged heart, Newman said.

Russert’s death left his colleagues devastated.

He was “one of the premier political journalists and analysts of his time,” Tom Brokaw, the former longtime anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” said in announcing Russert’s death Friday afternoon. Brian Williams, managing editor and anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” called his death a “staggering, overpowering and sudden loss.”

“Meet the Press,” which he began hosting in 1991, was considered an essential proving ground in the career of any national politician.

“If you could pass the Tim Russert test, you could do something in this field,” said Howard Fineman, senior Washington correspondent for Newsweek magazine and a columnist for msnbc.com.

Tenacity and passion
Russert was best known for his on-air tenacity as a reporter and his consuming passion for politics, which were evident during his nearly round-the-clock appearances on NBC and MSNBC on election nights.

But behind the scenes, Russert was also a senior vice president and head of NBC’s Washington operations, orchestrating all of the network’s coverage of government and political news.

“This is a tragic loss for journalism and for all who were privileged to know him,” said Walter Cronkite, the retired anchor and managing editor of ”The CBS Evening News.”

President Bush described Russert as "an institution in both news and politics for more than two decades."

He interrupted a news conference in Paris on Saturday to pay tribute to Russert, saying the world had "lost a really fine American."

"Tim Russert loved his country, he loved his family and he loved his job a lot and we're going to miss him," the president said.

"We send our deepest sympathies to Maureen, his wife, and Luke, his son. I know they are hurting right now and hopefully the prayers of a lot of Tim's friends and a lot of Americans will help them during this time of difficulty."

Earlier this year, Time magazine named Russert one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Mayor Byron Brown ordered flags flown at half-staff in Buffalo, N.Y., his hometown. NBC News' Brokaw was to host a special edition of “Meet the Press” remembering Russert on Sunday morning.

Senate staffer before entering journalism
Timothy John Russert Jr. was born in Buffalo on May 7, 1950. He was a graduate of Canisius High School, John Carroll University and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

He was a member of the bar in New York and Washington, D.C.

He had recently returned from Italy, where his family celebrated the graduation of his son, Luke, from Boston College.

After graduating from law school, Russert went into politics as a staff operative. In 1976, he worked on the Senate campaign of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, D-N.Y., and in 1982, he worked on Mario Cuomo’s campaign for governor of New York.

Russert joined NBC News in 1984. In April 1985, he supervised the live broadcasts of NBC’s TODAY show from Rome, negotiating and arranging an appearance by Pope John Paul II, a first for American television. In 1986 and 1987, Russert led NBC News’ weeklong broadcasts from South America, Australia and China.

Of his background as a Democratic political operative, Russert said, “My views are not important.”

“Lawrence Spivak, who founded ‘Meet the Press,’ told me before he died that the job of the host is to learn as much as you can about your guest’s positions and take the other side,” he said in a 2007 interview with Time magazine. “And to do that in a persistent and civil way. And that’s what I try to do every Sunday.”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said in a statement that Russert “asked the tough questions the right way and was the best in the business at keeping his interview subjects honest.”

Russert wrote two books — “Big Russ and Me” in 2004 and “Wisdom of Our Fathers” in 2006 — both of which were New York Times best-sellers.

John “I want as many troops as possible to DIE” McCain now ADMITS the troops are “NOT TOO IMPORTANT”

Troop hater John McCain tells Matt Lauer it’s “NOT TOO IMPORTANT” when our troops come home. Why didn’t he just say “I want them all dead”?

by Larry Simons
June 11, 2008

I’m really getting sick of this mother fucking asshole. Yes, I’m speaking of fearmongering, Neo-con, Bush-clone John “I was never tortured/I hate troops and America/songbird” McCain. This morning on the Today Show, Matt Lauer says this to McCain:

Lauer: “If it’s [the surge] working Senator, do you now have a better estimate of when American forces can come home from Iraq?”

McBush: “No, but that’s NOT TOO IMPORTANT…what’s important is the casualties in Iraq…”

Of course, this isn’t shocking coming from the biggest troop hating Neo-con scumbag in Washington outside of Bush and Cheney. What is shocking is how many stupid ASSHOLES in this country support and vote for this un-American glob of slime.

Does this shithead even know what comes out of his mouth? I think he may have multi-personality disorder. One of the personalities keep saying “I know how the families are hurting”, “I want casualties down”, blah blah blah. Another personality says “Let’s stay in Iraq 100 years”, “The troops coming home is NOT TOO IMPORTANT”, “the surge is ‘working’”. If the surge is working (and it’s NOT), then why can’t the troops come home and declare VICTORY?

McBush needs to take some basic math classes again. Is it just ME, or would the number of casualties NOT come down dramatically if they were…uhh….. HOME???????

Here you go Johnny retard, let’s do some simple word association:

Home……ALIVE
Stay……..DIE

Let’s do that again….

Home……ALIVE
Stay……..DIE

You see Johnny boy, there’s a greater chance that the troops LIVE when they are nowhere near roadside bombs, gunfire, explosions and suicide bombers. Amazing, isn’t it? No bombers to blow you up-----you LIVE. Gunfire all around you, you DIE. If you care so much about the number of casualties, then send them to a place they will LIVE…………HOME to their families!

Who in the holy hell is voting for this mutant? Apparently the ones who are too afraid to fight for the phony “war on terror” themselves and have no fathers, sons, brothers, sisters, mothers, daughters, aunts, uncles or friends----OVER there!

Watch the fucking worthless cretan…if you must

Hey Johnny boy---I’ll tell you who’s NOT TOO IMPORTANT……..YOU!
Drop dead you piece of rat filth!!

Tables turn for Bill O’Reilly attack dog; ambusher becomes ambushee

Bill Moyers embarrasses O’Reilly ambush goon, then news correspondent follows him and spoon feeds his own medicine to him….O’ Reilly-style

by Larry Simons
June 9, 2008

Bill O’ Reilly attack dog and ambush journalist Porter Barry confronted journalist Bill Moyers on Saturday at the National Conference for Media Reform. Barry was sent out once again by his Mafia boss, Bill O’ Reilly, to do his dirty work of ambush journalism and to rough-up Bill Moyers with the same tiresome requests to “come on Bill’s [O’ Reilly] show”.

Watch the video

Things didn’t turn out so well this time for O’ Reilly’s ambush thug. Like most times when Billo’s henchmen stake out their next victim after popping out of a bush or into a parking lot, they are successful in accomplishing their goal: Capturing clips of their victims trying to escape an interview or soundbytes that are aired in ‘out-of-context’ snippets in order to deceive Billo’s stupified sheep into thinking they are too scared to sit next to Bill Almighty and be interviewed.

After Moyers completely ripped Porter Barry a new asshole on Saturday, one wonders how Loofah boy will chop this clip up to deceive his faithful zombies. My guess is, he won’t be able to. So Billo will just have to fill in the 5 minutes he was planning on airing the Moyers bit with more scantily-clad babes he will somehow work into a human interest story.

Barry confronted Moyers and asked him why he won’t appear on The Factor. Moyers responded brilliantly by saying he will appear on The Factor after two things happen:

1) When Billo appears on HIS show first (since Moyers asked O’ Reilly FIRST some years ago) and
2) When Rupert Murdoch tells Moyers 'where the $20 a barrel oil is?'

(Rupert Murdoch, in February 2003, as he was beating the drums of war in support of Bush invading Iraq, said this, "The greatest thing to come out of this for the world economy, if you could put it that way, would be $20 a barrel for oil. That's bigger than any tax cut in any country.")

Click for the story of Rupert Murdoch’s $20 a barrel dream:

As Moyers points out, the price of oil currently is $137, a FAR cry from the $20 a barrel that Murdoch was predicting. Murdoch, like O’ Reilly and everyone at FOX News, is a lying, water-carrying, Neo-con criminal who should be rounded up with everyone who was responsible for the invasion of Iraq (which was not only illegal and unconstitutional, but the birthplace of the many war crimes Bush and his administration are guilty of), and convicted of high treason for the lies and propaganda that was thrown onto the laps of the American people that has now caused over 4,000 American military deaths and nearly a million Iraqi civilian deaths.

The media, who trumped up the war as moral and just, are just as complicit in these war crimes for lying repeatedly to the American people as Bush and his minions are.

After Barry gets embarrassed and equally speechless, the crowd begins cheering for Moyers. The ambush of Moyers ends and Barry walks away. Then other journalists, including Uptake correspondent Noah Kunin, gave Barry a dose in O’Reilly-style ambush journalism by following him around while he tried to dodge the "FOX News-style news reporting" bullet that Barry dishes out to others.

Don’t count on this entire clip to make The Factor tonight. My guess is Bill will trash the entire story unless he feels confident that his viewers really are as stupid and as computer illiterate so as to not have the knowledge to take 10 seconds to view it on YouTube!!

Your thugs were brought down Loofah-boy! Next time, confront Moyers YOURSELF you goddamned spineless COWARD!

UPDATE:

Billo mentions the confrontation between Porter Barry and Bill Moyers, but ONLY during the most ridiculous segment on Billo's show, the "body language" segment!!

I had predicted Billo wouldn't mention this confrontation at all...OK, I was wrong. What Billo DID do though was practically equal to not mentioning it. Billo had NO choice but to mention it during the most ridiculous and pointless part of his show (and there are many), the BODY LANGUAGE SEGMENT!

For anyone fortunate enough not to know what the body language segment is, it's basically one of the many distractions from REAL news on Billo's stupid show where a body language "expert" [Tanya Reiman] analyzes hand gestures and facial expressions, usually from clips of celebrities and politicians.

Since Billo could not address the fact that Bill Moyers completely embarrassed Billo's faggotty little stalker/reporter by citing a plethora of facts (like the famous quote by Rupert Murdoch in 2003 where he says that "$20 a barrel oil will result from the Iraq war"...[it is now at $135 a barrel]) and the fact that Porter Barry ended up walking away from Moyers speechless (only to have the tables turned on him when another correspondent grilled him "O' Reilly ambush style"), Billo had no choice but to show only a brief snippet from the 10-minute clip and to use it only in a meaningless "body language" segment where one of Billo's many bimbo guests analyzed Moyers' hand gestures!

That's classic Billo for you! When he can't re-air the substance of a story, he is forced to dance around the facts and re-air only 30-second snippets of a clip that is 20-25 times longer than what he lets his brain dead faithful see. His viewers are so faithful, they don't even bother looking up the FULL clips themselves...available at their fingertips on You Tube.

Watch the clip

Notice what Billo says after the clip is played. He says, "It doesn't matter what he [Moyers] says, it's just pure rank propaganda". So, Billo is ADMITTING that the EXACT WORDS of his boss, Rupert Murdoch, is "pure rank propaganda"! Real nice, Billo. You make it SO easy when you ADMIT it!

I don't watch Billo that much, (because to be honest, I can actually feel my brain shrinking as I'm watching), but I have watched the show enough to know one irrefutable FACT. When Billo does these ambush segments (regardless of who it is they confront....a judge, a school official, a councilman, etc..), he NEVER uses them in a "body language" segment.

These ambush pieces are done for a purpose, and it is usually to confront someone in public to ask them about some injustice they had done (a bad law passed, etc...) so Billo can use the clip to expose people running from the camera or being caught off guard trying to avoid the FOX News reporter to show the O' Reilly sheep that "Billo means business!" or "you don't run from Bill O'Reilly!"

In using this confrontation in a stupid "body language" segment, Billo is admitting that Moyers destroyed his sissy ambush hitman. This piece was NOT originally intended for a "body language" segment. When Billo saw that his bully reporter got a dose of his own medicine rammed down his throat, Billo panicked, changed the segment and gave Reiman a call.

Then, a minute later, Billo says, "He's a real fanatic, this Moyers....He's like a crazy guy!"

NO Billo, THIS IS A CRAZY GUY..........

Obama's Office Won't Deny Senator Attended Bilderberg

Tight security around Westfields Marriott suggests Illinois Senator and Hillary Clinton met at elite confab

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
June 6, 2008

Senator Barack Obama's office has refused to deny that the Democratic nominee attended Bilderberg last night following reports that he and Hillary Clinton were present at "an event in Northern Virginia."

As we reported earlier today, Obama's press entourage were not informed of his secret meeting with Hillary Clinton in Northern Virginia until they were literally locked inside a plane that was taxiing down the runway on its way to Chicago.

Reporters were duped into believing that they were getting on a plane back to the campaign headquarters in Chicago with the presumptive nominee, while in reality Obama's motorcade instead sped off in secrecy to Northern Virginia, which is also the scene of this week's Bilderberg conference. The plane was stationed at Dulles International, which is less than a 20 minute drive from Chantilly Virginia.

Bilderberg sleuth Jim Tucker called Obama's office today to ask if he had attended Bilderberg. A campaign spokeswoman refused to discuss the matter but would not deny that Obama had attended Bilderberg.

According to Alex Jones, security is so tight around Bilderberg that it does befit the visit of a potential future President.

Armored cars, men in suits hanging out of vehicles with guns and what looked like Marines have all been spotted in the vicinity of the Westfields Marriott.

Despite the controversy of Obama and Hillary's secret meeting and its obvious link to the ongoing Bilderberg conference, not one U.S. corporate media outlet, or any mainstream media outlet, has reported on over a hundred of the world's most powerful people meeting in secret on U.S. soil.

There was one reporter from the Fairfax Times who showed up today but they were not completely confident that any such report would make it to print.

Spooks Infest Marriott Hotel As Bilderberg Begins

Tucker and Jones followed, questioned by FBI as stunt fire alarm interrupts Coast to Coast appearance

Paul Joseph Watson
June 5, 2008

Spooks, FBI agents and cops have descended on the Westfields Marriott hotel in Chantilly Virginia to scrutinize Jim Tucker and Alex Jones as the 2008 Bilderberg meeting gets underway today without even being mentioned in the American corporate media.

Immediately before appearing on the nationally syndicated Coast to Coast AM broadcast last night, a show that boasts around 16 million listeners, Alex Jones was interrupted by a fire alarm which forced him to leave the hotel.

"I know this is a set-up, they timed this exactly....the moment the phone rang the alarm goes off....they want to use this to flush us out of here," Jones told host George Noory.

Jones added that he was also confronted by a security guard 30 minutes before the interview who told him to stop filming and made a bizarre out of context reference to a fire alarm.

"This is some kind of stunt, these bastards walked up to us and made a comment about fire alarms, we come in here the phone rings and right as the phone rings and they pick it up this alarm goes off," said Jones.

Jones also said that FBI agents had grilled him and Tucker on whether he "was planning anything violent" during a confrontation in the hotel restaurant.

"There's agents and spies everywhere....everywhere we go we are followed....they are questioning us, getting in our faces," said Jones, who was also detained and interrogated before the 2006 Bilderberg meeting in Ottawa Canada.

"All we're trying to do is get the First Amendment out, we're reporters, it's our right when 120 world leaders show up, we have a right and a duty to find out what's going on," he added.

Since the U.S. corporate media has steadfastly refused to utter one word on 125 powerbrokers meeting in secret to discuss the future of the planet, it is not only the duty, but the neccessity of the alternative media to fill the hole and keep Americans informed about what is taking place this week in Chantilly.

If 125 film stars booked out a hotel, arrived in dark-tinted limosuines and met in secret do you think the corporate media would be interested in finding out what they were there to discuss?

Yet 125 top CEO's, hugely influential philanthropists, heads of state, NATO officials, academic leaders, banking kingpins, and European royalty - the very people that shape the destiny of the world - can get together for three days without a single U.S. corporate media outlet reporting on it.

You certainly won't read about it in the Washington Post, the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal, since the editors of those three newspapers are all Bilderberg members.

This is why Tucker and Jones are forced to undergo harassment and scrutiny almost every year merely for covering the event - because not one mainstream media outlet dare break ranks with its elite owners and undertake real investigative journalism.

Alex Jones on Coast to Coast giving the report on Bilderberg 2008

Global elite scum meet in Chantilly, VA this week

by Larry Simons
June 5, 2008

Alex Jones discusses with George Noory what Bilderbergers may have in store for us in the next year. Gas prices, an Iran attack, the economy and who they will choose to be our next President is among the top issues.

Alex is in Chantilly, VA now at the Westfields Marriott hotel; the same site as Bilderberg 2002…the meeting before the invasion of Iraq.
